Discover the natural wealth of Colombia on an experience designed to connect you with our most iconic ecosystems.
We’ll pick you up directly from your accommodation to begin a fascinating tour of the Bogotá Botanical Garden, one of the country’s most important spaces for conservation and environmental education.
During the visit, we’ll travel symbolically through different regions of Colombia: from the superpáramo, the ecosystem located in the highest reaches of our mountains where the rivers that flow through the country originate, to the tropical rainforests, recognized as some of the most biodiverse on the planet.
We’ll explore the inter-Andean valleys of the Cauca and Magdalena Rivers, and travel to the Upper Guajira to learn about the biodiversity of the threatened tropical dry forest.
We’ll also explore the close relationship that humans have built with plants throughout history: their use in food, medicine, textiles, and construction. We will end the tour in a space dedicated to endangered species, where you will learn about the research, conservation and propagation processes carried out by the Botanical Garden.
