Colombia is one of the few countries where all thermal zones are found. The climate changes at varying altitudes, allowing for diverse ecosystems and making it one of the most biodiverse places in the world. Just a few minutes from Bogotá, you can admire two of our natural wonders: cloud forests and cascading waterfalls, including the tallest in all of Colombia, La Chorrera.
The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel or other location. Accompanied by our guide, you will travel along the Colombian Eastern Cordillera, located next to the Bogotá savanna, and admire the unique vegetation and natural beauty that gradually leads us to the high-altitude páramos and our destination: La Chorrera waterfall.
Upon arriving at the entrance of this natural park, the hike will begin and take us to three points of interest: El Chiflón Waterfall, a beautiful body of water where you’ll find yourself surrounded by the dense mist and spray emanating from this cascade, and where you can try rappelling if you’re feeling adventurous. We’ll continue to the main attraction, La Chorrera Waterfall, a 590-meter waterfall where you can admire the breathtaking natural beauty.
During the hike, you’ll hear stories from our guide, who will immerse you in the magic of the landscapes of the capital and its surroundings, as well as stories about our country and its natural wonders. Halfway between El Chiflón and La Chorrera waterfalls, you’ll enjoy a snack to recharge your energy.
The final stop on our tour is the Monkey Cave, a fascinating place at the top of the mountain where you’ll have a panoramic view of the hills and the Colombian Andes mountain range.
